It's Question Time!

Hello everyone! I hope you had a good week and are planning for a good weekend. I am so pumped to spend my day tomorrow at a public speaking tournament. Yep, that's exactly how I want to spend a Saturday. All jokes aside, I am excited to go, even if it's from 7:00am-7:00 pm. The school I'm competing at is an hour and a half away so it'll be a long ride. I'm really looking forward to getting the most from that peppermint mocha. As usual, it's Question Time! Feel free to leave a pressing question in the comments below. I think I'll leave you a question at the end of the post so I can learn more about you :) enjoy! xx

Watch Me Be A Playwright

Hello! I'm sorry for the long absence. I was having yet another slight breakdown last night. I find it really rude and annoying when people don't text you back and never tell you why they didn't. I also find it annoying when you post on their Facebook wall with something they specifically asked you to tell them about and then they don't acknowledge that it's there (but post on other things). It was really awkward that I asked a question and he didn't respond. So as usual, I went on Facebook and then he was online and it was a momentary pause of awkwardness before logging off. Don't be that person who takes forever to text back, unless you are actually busy.

I take a class where I help write the school paper. We were writing blurbs about ourselves for the online staff section. I sound like a cat lady. I watch chick flicks by myself, I blog, and I love cats, other people's cats.

But anyways! I tried my hand at writing a play. I'll give you some background. In Spanish class last year, my teacher was gone for three or so days. We had a really, really chill sub. He let us do whatever and my friends and I called the Frito Lay customer service number on the back of a bag of chips. My friend tried calling in Spanish but the lady was fluent so she hurriedly hung up. I called in Korean and that memory triggered this whole play. It's about a person named Penelope who learns how to talk to people, basically. So read and enjoy! Tell me what you think :) xx

Moody. Sad. Monday.

Hello everyone. Honestly, I'm not having the best of days. It's not because it's Monday but rather because of a math test. Bad days happen and I just want to sit in the corner and cry and do nothing. BUT I'm not going to do that because as much as I hate bad days, you can only prolong your bad day by moping around more. The best thing we can do is get up and just march on. It is Monday and I was really obsessed with the character that Lillian embodies. So although it isn't a Monday Memoir, it has the same essence in that it tells a story. So enjoy. xx.
And my blog is all back to normal now ^^

Yay, 100th Post!

I am truly blessed and I'm extremely happy that this is the 100th post! I guess I got really obsessed with blogging when I first started. The number of posts per month has been steadily decreasing. I feel like that's also somewhat of a good thing because it means that I've been taking time to write things that people want to read. I always get really upset when I follow blogs that seem awesome but are never updated. Today was Black Friday (in the US) which is a national shopping day. There are sales everywhere on everything and a great day to buy stuff haha. Nevertheless, I was at home having a lazy day. It is also Friday (also US and perhaps a few other countries) so that means some quality Q&A time with me. I would love to answer your questions, so if you're curious about my life then comment below.

Thank You

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm not sure if Thanksgiving is a holiday anywhere else but I know a lot of countries have a day that's similar. It's important to give thanks whether it's on a special holiday or not. I'm so fortunate but often it takes a special holiday for me to realize that. I decided to make a list of some of the things I'm thankful for. It would take just way too long for me to type every single thing out, sorry.

Why I Love Coffee Shops

Hello everyone, everywhere! The weather was so perfect today. It actually felt like autumn and reminded why I love it this season much. The sad part is that it's almost the end of November and the leaves shouldn't be in their golden (red) prime right now. The leaves should've fallen off a long time ago and the air should have held a sort of bittersweet memory of autumn. I love this type of weather though, where you can wear a sweater and maybe a scarf and feel toasty warm.

Girl in the Photograph

Hello! Second post of the day! How many times have I done that this month? Haha, enjoy a Monday Memoir. I'm currently having a slight breakdown about what to wear on Wednesday. Even though it's not a date and it's really casual. Anyways! So today's Memoir features Lillian from Coffee Shop, or a twist on that Lillian. Lillian is probably my favorite character and I think my next project will feature her. She's almost exactly the type of person that I want to be: Self assured, confident, and bold. She's not afraid to do things her way and knows exactly what she wants. She's super independent, and isolates people because of her independence. Enjoy! xx

Pre Thanksgiving Pig Out

We had "The Sink" and they literally give you 8 scoops of ice cream with 8 toppings. We ordered Mango and it actually tasted pretty good, not like actual mango but still yummy. Our ice cream was prettier than that of the table next to us. It was really funny how two minutes after it came out, everyone had their phone out to snap a photo of this beautiful creation.

Friday Night Blogging

Enjoy for all those having a "me party," haha, from The Muppets.

Hellooooooo! Hello Thanksgiving Break! I'm having an okay day today and I'm so glad that this week is over. This week has been seriously one of the longest weeks ever. This week and probably the week before Christmas break too. I'm already waiting for the imaginary snow to fall on California. Anyways I think this one will be a pretty solid Q&A sesh, unlike some of the weeks past. And always feel free to post questions. I promise I'll answer it if it's a decent question!

Hello Autumn

Fall shoes are the best!
Hi everyone! Autumn is really here and here to stay, at least for now. It's the middle of November so it should be here. The rain in California Bay Area hasn't started yet but I'm anxious to wear rain boots again! I just pulled out all my winter clothes from their confinement in the storage space. I'm still looking for a nice fall jacket. I recently got new shoes and I love them. Shoe shopping is really fun. You feel like Cinderella. Haha. Well I guess that's what the modern day Cinderella would look like. You buy your own shoes and try a bunch of things on. No one should have to tell you what shoes to wear and what you can't wear. A guy shouldn't have to find your shoe for you.
Thanksgiving Break is coming up around the corner! One more day of agonizing tests and essays and then a week of rest, and Huckleberry Finn. I had four tests today and that's why there was no Wednesday post. So I hope this makes up for it! First Korean lesson after school today. It took an hour to read this book but progress is progress is progress. And Diversity Club was doing their thing right next to us outside the library so it was fun hanging out with them too. I might hang out with him over break which is exciting. I need a new nickname for him. Hmm....
Haha, well! I hope no matter where you live you get to experience the beauty of changing seasons. It's fun to pull out your winter clothes even if it's tedious. Be thankful of that ethylene and positive feedback for the falling leaves. xx

Oh The Drama

Hello everyone.  Thank you so much for 2000+ page views!  I'm so grateful that you've been reading what I post, whether it's your first time visiting or if you've read all my posts. I hope that you decide to join me on my adventure. Blogging is much more fulfilling when you know other people are benefiting from your words.

It's the second week of November and autumn really is here and here to stay. I can't say that I enjoy the blistery cold weather but it's better than a fluctuation from cold to hot to suddenly rain. Fall makes me moody and maybe that's because I love to write. My English teacher said today that people write more in their essays about Shakespeare's tragedy than his comedies because there really isn't much to say about "they lived happily ever after." Sure we all want our happy ending but how many of us truly get it? Life is about compromise and becoming happy without being fully satisfied. Maybe you can tell that I'm not in the best of moods. I'll explain that later but right now I want to show you what Cinderella would like in real life, not modern day, but real actual life.

Call Me Monday

Welcome for another Monday Memoir. If you haven't noticed I'm going back and inserting a jump break so that you can see more posts on the home screen without clicking pages.  I hope it's helpful! I didn't have school today so I meandered around a bookstore reading. My friend would disapprove but whatever. Meandering is fun. Haha. And remember, if you aren't happy with words that I choose, comment below to submit a reasonable noun! Comments can be anonymous too. xx

Happy Pepero Day!

Hi again! I almost forgot! Today is 11/11 :) which means Pepero (빼빼로 데이) Day! It's become somewhat of a national holiday in Korea. I'd love to take some time to explain what exactly Pepero Day is.

I Seriously Can't Dance

Look at us, matchy matchy! PS I'm wearing a skirt... it sort of doesn't look like it.

Friday. Friday. Got to Get Down on Friday

Hello guys! I've had a busy week and I realize that my blog posts might not be of the greatest quality. I apologize and I'll really try to make these worth reading. Some really great things happened in my life this week actually. By the end of the week, I forget what ever happened in the beginning of the week. This week I have Monday off which is doubly exciting. So on to some good stuff. Check by on some previous posts if you want my excited vibe during the exact moment.

Biology in Love

Hello! Maybe you've been reading my blog posts long enough to know that I'm really geeky. I love biology and I'm starting to fall in love with public speaking. Well anyways, even if you don't know welcome to my geeky side.

Best Night Ever.

Hellloooooooooooooo everyone! I am overflowing with happiness. So today my English teacher said she was giving extra credit to go see our school play Hamlet. I was planning on going on Friday with one of my friends but soon realized that I have tutoring and a Gangnam Style rehearsal on Friday. And she's busy on Thursday. I didn't really want to go as a loner to a school play on a Thursday even for 10 points of extra credit.

Myths About High School

Hello! Happy Tuesday! It's Election Day here in the US and I'm really crossing my fingers that Obama wins, even by just 1 vote. It's really close and I'm seriously on the edge of my seat. I am worried intensely about the future of the US and the world if someone like Mitt Romney comes into office. If you like Mitt Romney, I'm sure you have your reasons but I feel that I can't trust someone to lead a country if they can't even express their opinions without checking the popular opinion. Sure, things haven't been perfect during the Obama Administration but they haven't decreased immensely. He's actually done a lot of good things that go ignored because of the economic crisis that BUSH left behind. Everyone, even Romney, seems to have forgotten that Bush even existed. It's definitely a close election this year and all I can do is wait.

Caffeinated Mondays

Hello! Whether you come daily or it's your first time, welcome from the bottom of my heart! I hope you guys are having a better day than I am. I'm having an offset day where something good balances something bad but barely. It's a see-saw. Bad days are inevitable and we just do have to deal with them, which sucks. Also! If you didn't know, it's Daylight Savings! Yay sleep or whatever else you guys do beside sleep. Blogger doesn't seem to know hah.
Anyways. . . Mondays bring Monday Memoirs. I'm getting to like writing these more and more. I love the fact that these aren't that polished but exactly how I'm feeling at the beginning of every week. Most of this stuff is based around my life or a friend's life or what I want my life to be like. The premise of a Monday Memoir is basically a narrative pertaining to one random word. If you have any fun word suggestions please comment below.

Return of Coffee Shop

Hello guys! I'm back with a new chapter of Coffee Shop. Thanks for sticking with me but the end is truly near. I don't think there will be any more massive projects like this because I just don't have the time to start over with a complicated story and characters. I've just had the worst afternoon, well I guess starting from 4:30 to 4:35 pm. I just want to cry and crumple up and stay like that forever. I don't want to do math homework either..... Well enjoy a long awaited (?) chapter of Coffee Shop. xx

Introduction To My Life

Hello! What a glorious Friday it is indeed. I'm having actually a really okay day. Many of you may be excited by this but I've planned out the ending for the Coffee Shop series and have started writing a little bit of it. I'm pretty swamped with new projects such as working on a birthday gift for my friend. She's a really fantastic person who is there when I need her. We may not hang out all the time but if I'm having a crisis I know I can call her and she'll be there for me. She's a lot of fun to be around. I got her Oreos freshman year because they were her favorite and it's been sort of a tradition through the years. :) So anyways, here are some questions and answers about me. Happy Friday! xx
